Senior Software Engineer - React.js Framework

About the job : Key Skills and Experience : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). - Extensive experience with React for building modern, component-based web applications. - Strong proficiency in TypeScript for writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code. - Hands-on experience with GraphQL for querying APIs and managing front-end-back-end communication efficiently. - Proficiency in using Material-UI (MUI) or similar component libraries for creating consistent and reusable UI components. - Strong understanding of front-end development best practices, including performance optimisation, accessibility, and responsive design. - Experience with modern front-end build tools and processes, such as Vite or Webpack. - Familiarity with front-end testing tools like Cypress. - Proficient in using version control systems such as Git. - Experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines. - Excellent creative problem-solving skills, able to approach challenges from different angles and find effective solutions, gathering and capturing requirements for small, self-contained projects, ensuring clear objectives. - Able to identify and break down large designs into manageable tasks, ensuring appropriate levels of detail are documented to enable independent progress and successful implementation. - Proven ability to coach and mentor junior engineers. - Ability to thrive in an agile, fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple priorities. - Self-motivated and able to work proactively and autonomously as part of, and across Gresham teams, with excellent problem solving, collaboration and communication skills. - Able to take on problems without a defined approach to drive positive business outcomes. - Highly desirable - Solid understanding of the financial reconciliation process (ref:hirist.tech)
