Senior MERN Stack Developer -

Job Summary : As a Senior MERN Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust web applications. You will work closely with our product and design teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Your expertise in the MERN stack will be critical in ensuring the performance, scalability, and security of our applications. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js). - Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. - Implement and manage RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints. - Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. - Ensure the security and data protection of web applications. - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards. - Debug and resolve technical issues and bugs. - Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. - Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with the team. - Implement and maintain socket connections using libraries such as Socket.io for real- time communication features. - Integrate third-party services and APIs, including AWS Chime for audio and video conferencing. - Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in web development. - Work closely with DevOps to manage and deploy applications using CI/CD pipelines and Docker. Required Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - 5 years of experience in web development with a strong focus on the MERN stack. - Proficiency in JavaScript, including ES6 features. - Strong experience with React and state management libraries such as Redux or Context API. - In-depth knowledge of Node.js and Express.js for server-side development. - Proficiency in working with MongoDB, including schema design and optimization. - Experience with version control systems, preferably Git. - Familiarity with GraphQL and RESTful API design. - Strong experience with socket programming using Socket.io or similar libraries. - Hands-on experience integrating third-party services and APIs, including AWS Chime. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Preferred Qualifications : - Experience with TypeScript and its integration in the MERN stack. - Knowledge of serverless architecture and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools. - Experience with performance optimization techniques for web applications. - Understanding of web security best practices and data protection. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. - Contributions to open-source projects or a portfolio of published web applications.
