Provoke meaningful professional meetings every day Today, I am recruiting for one of my great clients located on the north shore of Montreal, a POS technician with at least 3 years of experience. The position is permanent and with great benefits. Aujourd'hui, je recrute pour un de mes beaux clients situé sur la rive nord de Montréal, un technicien POS avec au moins 3 ans d'expérience. Le poste est permanent et avec de beaux avantages sociaux. - Install and configure point-of-sale (POS) systems for customers. - Diagnose and resolve technical issues with POS system hardware and software. - Perform regular maintenance and repair of POS systems to ensure optimal performance. - Provide technical support to customers, both by phone and in person, to resolve concerns. - Train customers on the effective use of POS systems, with a focus on functionality and management. - Stay informed on the latest technological developments in POS systems and industry trends. - Research and provide recommendations on new POS systems and upgrades to implement. - Manage spare parts inventory and place orders as needed to ensure continuity of service. - Collaborate with IT teams to ensure smooth integration of POS systems with other business systems. - Degree in Computer Science, with consideration for any combination of relevant experience and academic training. - Excellent understanding of computer hardware and software components. - Hands-on experience with networks, operating systems and database management, as well as knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) software, an asset. - Fluency in French and English, with fluency in both languages ​​an added asset. - Knowledge of or willingness to learn Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. - Valid driver's license and vehicle ownership. - Excellent communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in work. The use of English is required in this position for the following reasons: Communication with international clients: As some of our clients are based abroad, you will be required to communicate regularly with them in English, both orally and in writing. Collaboration with English-speaking partners: You will have to collaborate with English-speaking suppliers and partners for order tracking and contract management. Writing documents in English: You will be responsible for writing reports, proposals or contracts in English, for our international clients.
