What are your responsibilities?
Product Manager for a software offering, which aims at supporting utilities in providing accurate and up-to-date grid models across their IT/OT landscape, ultimately helping them break down data silos across the organization.
- Drive product developments, launches and growth as an entrepreneur for global markets
- Be the business owner with responsibility for the overall business case and business operations, incl. commercial and legal setup
- Analyze current and future requirements and develop a value-driven roadmap in close collaboration with customers
- Serve a global customer base and work closely with other product managers and domain experts as well as various other key departments such as Sales and Marketing
- Work in an agile environment and closely collaborate with the R&D team
- Together with R&D, ideate developments of innovative methods, model libraries and differentiators
What do you need to qualify for this job?
- You hold a Masters degree or PhD in electrical engineering or similar, preferably with focus on power systems
- You have already many years of professional experience as product manager, consultant or implementation project lead w.r.t. software for power system management
- You bring extensive and demonstrated knowledge of power grid modeling, esp. for applications in grid planning and operations
- You have a proven track record working on modern software, and are always up-to-date with latest tech trends
- You have successfully demonstrated customer proximity in complex organizations, and bring practical experience in exploring market/user needs and market segmentation
- You have excellent problem solving and analytical skills combined with solid intuition on what's pragmatically feasible
- You have a highly collaborative and positive attitude and are intrinsically motivated
- You are highly flexible and able to execute well in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving organization
- You can communicate complex issues to both technical and non-technical audiences
- You are excellent in English oral and written communication and presentation
