Hydrogen Project and Business Development Associate

Gibson Watts are currently supporting a hydrogen power business and working with them on the next stage of their international growth.

The business offers green and sustainable energy to the grid through large scale fuel cell plants and is both a manufacturer and producer with ambitions of becoming a leading player in the green hydrogen energy market.

The role:

• Define the German market business plan.
• Analyse competitor business, new market opportunities and open new business opportunities.
• Coordinate the development and implementation of hydrogen power plants in Germany
• Produce and lead tender submissions for new projects.
• Coordinate the negotiation PPA's
• Create and lead a project developers team
• Represent the business in Germany and become the main contact point with authorities
• Grow and nurture relationships with government, trade associations and other authorities

Experience:

• Recent knowledge of the German regulatory framework and of the energy sector (gas, power and/or hydrogen)
• 1-3 years of professional experience in project development in the energy sector
• Sales, negotiation and relationship building skills.
• Long-term vision and experience in project build out
• Flexibility to travel around Germany and Europe.
• Fluency in German and English with experience of working in the German energy market is essential!
