Senior Backend Developer

I am working with a well known Artificial Intelligence company based in Berlin, that is currently searching for a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. Whilst they are based in Berlin, the company operates on a hybrid model.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend systems and APIs.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and frontend developers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
• Contribute to the technical architecture and long-term strategic planning of our systems.

✅ Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ Years experience with Python.
• Experience with backend frameworks/libraries (e.g., Django, Spring Boot, Flask, FastAPIs).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Language Proficiency: English (Fluent) German (C1 or Native)
