Job Description
This leading fasteners business has an immediate vacancy for a CNC Setter to join their busy team
The role
· Set and Operate CNC Lathes.
· Edit Fanuc controls when required.
· Learn offline programming of Fanuc.
· Read and understand drawings.
· Monitor machinery and report problems.
· Monitor Coolant levels and top up as required.
· Ensure one’s own safety and that of others.
· Cooperate with employer on OH&S training and guidance.
The ideal candidate will have:
· Experience with fastener industry and exotic materials strongly desired.
· Suitable Industry recognised qualifications in CNC setting/operating or a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a similar engineering environment at a comparable level.
· Good communication skills.
