Job Title: Senior Engineer (Ideally with Electrical Bias)
Location: Cambridgehsire
Hours: 08:00 - 16:30, Monday to Friday
Salary: up to £47,000
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Engineer with an electrical bias to join our team at a high-paced, 24/7 manufacturing facility. This role is suited for a candidate with Team Leader or Lead Engineer experience who is ready to step into a role focused on team development and reliability improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Hands-On and Leadership Balance: Starting 75% hands-on, the role involves both reactive and preventive maintenance of production equipment.
Team Development: Mentor, train, and develop a team of engineers to improve skill levels and support reliability goals across the site.
Reliability Improvement: Identify and implement reliability enhancements to boost operational efficiency and reduce downtime.
Path to Supervisory Role: Potential for growth into a more hands-off, supervisory position as reliability and team targets are met.
What We’re Looking For:
Engineering Expertise: Strong engineering skills, ideally with an electrical bias, to troubleshoot and maintain various manufacturing equipment.
Leadership Experience: Background as a Team Leader or Lead Engineer, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
Reliability Focus: A proactive approach to continuous improvement with a strong understanding of reliability best practices.
