The Opportunity - Junior Buyer

This is an excellent opportunity for someone from the procurement administration background to join a premier aerospace business in Gloucestershire in the position of Junior Buyer.

You’ll be involved in the procurement of components to support a busy engineering team, including bespoke projects.

Duties - Junior Buyer

• Procuring components ensuring on-time delivery, quality, and cost-efficiency
• Build on new and existing relationships with suppliers.
• Coordination and placement of purchase orders
• Coordination with strategic sourcing and regional supply chain teams.
• Maintenance of part planning parameters and conversion of demand triggers.
• Obtain delivery commitments and will coordinate with regional supply chain team.
• Effectively influence internal site functions.
• Ensure contractual terms and conditions are actively followed.

Background - Junior Buyer

• Strong Administration skills
• Basic Supply Chain experience
• ERP / MRP experience
• Good negotiating skills
• Ability to work under pressure
