Location: Bury St Edmunds | Salary: £76,229 + car + 3% bonus

Join a dynamic team where you’ll lead the charge on electrical infrastructure projects, handling 33kV (and some 11kV) systems. You’ll be making sure everything runs smoothly—from substation builds to cable maintenance—while keeping safety at the forefront. Plus, you’ll have the chance to train and guide apprentices and collaborate with contractors to deliver top-notch work!

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the construction and maintenance of electrical projects on private and public networks.
• Work with your team to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.
• Operate and maintain HV and LV systems, oversee fault-finding, and handle commissioning tasks.
• Keep an eye on project budgets and ensure clients are happy and systems stay safe.
• Stay hands-on with safety protocols, ensuring compliance every step of the way.

What You’ll Bring:

• 33kV SAP status (or close to it!), with an HNC in Electrical Engineering or similar experience.
• Strong knowledge of HV distribution systems.
• A knack for leading teams and juggling multiple projects at once.
• Great with Microsoft Office (and know your way around a few engineering tools too).
• Full driving license, because this role has you moving across various sites!

• Experience with safety qualifications like IOSH or NEBOSH.
• Knowledge of construction regulations and a love for continuous improvement.
