We are an experienced firm of chartered accountants based in Edinburgh, but were not your average collar-and-tie people. We are currently looking for someone new to join our existing payroll team as a full-time payroll supervisor working 35 hours per week, however, we will also be considering part-time applications.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Supporting the rest of the payroll team
- Processing client payrolls
- Processing CIS liabilities for clients
- Setting up payroll payments on behalf of clients
- Complying with auto-enrolment rules
- Completing P11ds
- Meeting client expectations in terms of accuracy and timescales for delivery of work
- Being responsive to client needs
The ideal candidate would have:
- Previous payroll experience
- Experience of Brightpay software is preferable, however, not essential
- A positive attitude/team spirit
- A professional, respectful, and friendly manner
- Ability to build and develop client relationships
- Attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Strong excel skills
