So what does the role look like?

• Manage the end-to-end freight forwarding process, including quotations, bookings, and documentation.
• Collaborate with clients and suppliers to ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods.
• Handle customs clearance processes and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
• Resolve any operational issues that may arise throughout the shipping and logistics process.
• Maintain thorough records and documentation of shipments and correspondence.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, freight carriers, and other stakeholders.
• Proactively identify and implement opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency.

So do you have what it takes?

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in freight forwarding, with a solid understanding of international shipping procedures.
• Proficient knowledge of customs regulations and compliance requirements.
• Strong IT skills, including expertise in freight management software and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and partners.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive, adaptable mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
