Job Description
SUBCONTRACTS MANAGERS - CONTRACT – SURREY
Our Client requires two Subcontracts Managers for high-end plastics recycling construction project for an initial 6 month contract role that has an immediate start.
EDUCATION:
BSc., University degree in any of the main Legal, Business, or Engineering branches., i.e., Mechanical, Civil, electrical, chemical, or equivalent
EXPERIENCE:
* Candidates with construction experience would be ideal and if they are German speaking that would be even better.
* EPCM experience essential
* Minimum of 7 years in developing and executing Contracts & Procurement within Oil & Gas projects
* Previous experience within our Client or EPCM projects is preferred but not essential.
JOB SCOPE:
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Develop, Implement, and manage a portfolio of Large EPCM Package Contracts and Site Services Agreements associated with the Project.
* Where applicable prepare and Issue tender documentation.
* Compile tender documentation, ensuring that the package is complete and viable.
* Strategize and hold tender clarification meetings..
* Facilitate information to and from tenderers.
* Issue tender bulletins and clarification documentation.
* Ensure that technical and commercial negotiation evaluations and strategies are carried out in a timely manner.
* Prepare and manage the issuance of contracts and its documentations.
* Prepare and hold Kick Off Meetings.
* Plan, develop and execute Post award Contract management activities.
* Responsible for Contract Close out.
* Report Contract progress from Pre to Post Award, through Project Systems.
Relationships:
Works with multi discipline Project team
Deal with Contractors, OIM’s and Suppliers
Deal with Client and our Client’s Stakeholders
DURATION: 6 months initially
LOCATION: The role will be based on 5 days a week in our Client’s Offices in Surrey. Hybrid working may be possible with two days remote.
RATE: £60.00 – 65.00 per hourLtd co rate
If the role is Likely to be outside of IR35 the final decision will only be made after a QDOS assessment.
We are instructed to only submit to our Client candidates whose qualifications and experience match client’s specifications and can work in the UK.
