Job Summary:

We are looking for a Systems Administrator with expertise in Windows Server and Microsoft 365 to manage, optimize, and secure our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience in Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, VMware virtualization, and Cisco Meraki networking, along with the ability to lead our Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus certifications, including assisting with ISO27001/ISO27002 certs. Key responsibilities include managing Windows and Microsoft 365 environments, overseeing network and device security, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards, and providing technical support to end-users. This role is perfect for a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a blend of technical and security skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support to 200 users.
  • Manage Windows Server and Microsoft 365 environments, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Administer Microsoft Intune and Autopilot for device management and deployment.
  • Oversee VMware virtualization and maintain Cisco Meraki network infrastructure, including switches and firewalls.
  • Lead Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus certification processes, ensuring compliance with security standards.
  • Monitor system performance and security, troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime.
  • Document configurations, procedures, and policies for consistency and compliance.
  • Provide technical support to end-users and conduct training sessions on system usage and security best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computing, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field is required.
  • A Master’s Degree in a related discipline is preferred.
  • Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals is an advantage.
  • Relevant certifications in Cisco Meraki or VMware are advantageous.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in systems administration, specifically in Windows Server and Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Proven expertise in managing and optimizing Windows Server OS (2016/2019/2022) and Active Directory.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and Autopilot for device management and security.
  • Strong background in administering Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
  • Hands-on experience with VMware virtualization and managing Cisco Meraki networking equipment (switches, firewalls, VPNs).
  • Experience in implementing and maintaining Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus certification processes is a plus.
