BAM FM are recruiting an FM General Operative to join the team based at the Wallyford Learning Campus.
Available Shift Pattern:
3.30pm - 10.00pm Monday - Friday
Pay: £12.45 per Hour.
Among many support services our enhanced family friendly package includes: Men’s and Women’s health, fertility support, maternity, paternity and shared parental leave, fostering leave, menopause support, carer leave, surrogacy and adoption support.
Your mission
You will be primarily responsible for cleaning an allocated area of the Campus and you will also be required to assist with Janitorial task from time to time.
• Carry out the day-to-day cleaning of a dedicated areas of the campus.
• Maintain quality work standards in a consistent manner.
• Report faults/damages to supervisor/line manager.
• Undertake other activities and duties as directed by BAM FM and client management.
• Collecting and appropriate disposing of waste, cleaning and maintain waste bins and to Refill and replace consumables.
• Janitorial task will include but not limited to reporting of faulty equipment & other maintenance requirements to appropriate person.
• Carry out basic maintenance repairs, opening and closing the facility or parts of it for room bookings and events.
• Setting up furniture for bookings or events.
• Security patrols of the campus, meet and greet visitors.
• Complying with corporate health and safety, quality, environmental system requirements ensuring compliance with all legislation and BAM FM policy and procedures.
Who are we looking for?
• Minimum 12 months cleaning experience preferred but not necessary.
• BICs qualification would be an advantage.
• Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 (PVG) in relation to this type of work for children preferred.
• Ability to understand and work to the Bam values.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Consistently good time keeping
• Knowledge of COSHH.
