Senior Mechanical Project Manager

A dynamic, progressing and forward thinking MEP Contractor with a turnover of around £50m and ambitious growth plans requires a Senior Mechanical Project Manager to join its team, due to securing one of their largest ever projects – a £15m residential Shell & Core project in London. You will support the site-based, electrically biased Project Director and manage a full mechanical team.

Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Preparation of commissioning documents
Planning the development of the project and be responsible for any engineering issues
Working with the Quantity Surveyor to manage cost and make sure the project is within or below budget
Use the request for information system to communicate queries with the design team
Preparing risk assessments and method statements
Ensure all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements are followed throughout the project
Ensure quality control is up to date through inspections and snagging
Delegation of work to the delivery team
