Our Civil Engineering client is looking for a forward-thinking and ambitious Project Manager to join their team and manage projects from concept through to completion.
Day-to-day of the role:
Take ownership of all project phases, from tender and contract award through to practical completion and handover.
Apply and develop engineering expertise to maximise value for clients while minimising environmental impact.
Advise on contract procurement routes and select appropriate contractors and professional teams.
Attend internal team meetings to report on work completed and outline next actions.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress in alignment with the programme and budget.
Identify and resolve any issues causing delayed progress.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 / 5 years of Project or Site management experience, preferably with a sub-contractor.
Client-facing experience with the ability to manage multiple sites.
Proven experience managing direct staff and subcontractors.
Trade background is ideal, or groundworks / civil engineering
Proficient in construction drawings and setting out.
Experience with A-Site or 4Projects.
Knowledgeable in Health & Safety, capable of generating RAMS, CPP, and ITP.
Excellent communication, management, organisational, and administrative skills.
Flexibility to work unsociable hours for projects undertaken at night.
