Location: Hull, UK
Hours: 16–20 hours per week
Our Client: Axi Recruitment is supporting a reputable manufacturing company seeking a highly skilled Payroll Administrator to join their dedicated finance team.
The Role: As Payroll Administrator, you will be the primary contact for payroll management, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of employee payrolls. Your work will contribute to maintaining compliance with legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Execute end-to-end payroll processes with accuracy and efficiency.
* Maintain and update employee payroll records, ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations and statutory requirements.
* Submit HMRC returns, including FPS, EPS, year-end reconciliations, and other statutory obligations.
* Address payroll-related queries from employees, management, and HMRC with professionalism.
* Ensure all payroll timelines are met and manage any discrepancies effectively.
* Support additional payroll-related tasks as needed to streamline operations.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience: Proven background in payroll administration, with a solid grasp of payroll processes and compliance.
* Skills: Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel). Exceptional attention to detail and organisational abilities.
* Attributes: Strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive data with the utmost confidentiality.
* Teamwork: Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
