Water Hygiene Engineer
We’re excited to share a fantastic opportunity for a Water Hygiene Engineer to join our client’s team in Central Scotland. This is a full-time, field-based role, ideal for someone passionate about ensuring water systems are safe, compliant, and maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitoring & Testing: Regular testing of water systems for temperature and microbial content.
* Cleaning & Disinfection: Maintain tanks and hot/cold-water systems to industry standards.
* TMV Servicing: Carry out Thermostatic Mixing Valve servicing as required.
* Remedial Works: Complete necessary repairs to keep systems compliant.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate reports and detailed records of work completed.
* Compliance: Follow health and safety regulations and company standards at all times.
* Client Liaison: Provide clear advice and recommendations to clients on water hygiene.
* Training & Development: Stay up-to-date with best practices and certifications.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
* Certification in Legionella Awareness and Water Hygiene (L8).
* Additional qualifications, such as City & Guilds in water industry-related disciplines, are advantageous but not essential.
* Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach.
