Location: Southern England (Greater London)
£50-65k + car allow + bonus + benefits
We are working exclusively with a premium alcoholic drinks brands. The business, headquartered in Europe, is growing and investing in the UK market.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Field Sales Manager to lead our sales team in the On Trade channel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring exceptional execution of our sales strategies in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the drinks market.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive positioning, and new opportunities within the drinks industry.
- Customer Engagement: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and retailers to enhance brand visibility and sales performance.
- Sales Forecasting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports to monitor performance against targets and make data-driven decisions.
- Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and support to the sales team to ensure they are knowledgeable about products and sales techniques.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, supply chain, and other departments to align sales efforts with overall business goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in field sales, preferably within the drinks or beverage industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyse data and market trends to drive decision-making.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and support the sales team.
