VACANCY: Academy Head Coach – South West

We are looking to on-board a professional, ambitious coach to lead our South West and Cornwall/Devon Programmes as we head into 2025.

The Academy’s primary mission is to develop athletes from across the UK who can pathway into our International Elite Sevens squads, who currently compete across a number of continents this season alone winning over 20 titles.

We are looking to bring in a proven Academy Head Coach for the South West Area, to ensure we offer leading rugby development opportunity to our players.

The role would entail regular communication with the Elite 7s Team Operations Manager, and would ultimately report to the CEO.

Indicative Responsibilities Include:

• Leading the provision of sessions for the South West and Cornwall/Devon squads.

• Working with the Administrative Lead for the Academy, to ensure all sessions are equipped and prepared to the highest standards.

• Take a lead role in the recruitment and identification of exciting talent

• Take a lead role in the development of Masterclass and Skills Development sites

• Take a lead role in the recruitment and development of academy coaches

The role is available in both a part-time and full-time capacity dependent on the applicant and a shared vision for the area.
