Job Description

Our client is looking for an experienced Head of Marketing who can contribute to the research and development phase of new products as well as deliver a structured approach to launching new products to market. You will be responsible for the ownership and implementation of the marketing plan, delivering the marketing KPIs for the company. This is a results-orientated role with lead generation, product marketing and revenue generation being key metrics that are measured and essential to the company achieving its revenue goals. Having a strong digital skill set and experience in enhancing UX and customer-facing touchpoints is essential.

This position is a fixed-term contract until March 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

Working with the marketing team, the senior management and sales team to deliver an effective and successful marketing plan, ensuring the values of the business are always represented.

Delivering a relevant and comprehensive marketing plan that delivers on the marketing KPIs, which are aligned to the business goals of the company.

Enhancing the UX of the customer, with focus on our core customer segments –- paying particular attention to improving their resources and sales tools, which enable the sales teams to take our products to market. This includes the look and feel of all customer-facing touchpoints and materials, such as proposals and customer collateral.

Generating relevant leads for the business to achieve its growth target.

Supporting the growth and development into new categories and markets, by launching category-specific and sector-specific campaigns to raise our profile and generate leads.

Supporting new product development by undertaking market and customer research.

Launching new products to market and maximising their ROI.

Growing the brand equity of our own brand, thus growing demand, loyalty and market share.

Discovering potential new customer markets and executing the go to market strategy.

Using marketing technology to deliver effective and integrated marketing campaigns.

Writing copy in the correct tone of voice that succinctly conveys the relevant message for marketing campaigns.

Compiling video and photographic case studies to articulate the company’s strengths and capabilities.

Exhibition and event management.

You will be responsible for ensuring the correct messaging and positioning of the brand.

Managing all marketing channels and the full marketing mix, including digital; social; website; offline

Delivering the tangible outcomes of the marketing plan, ensuring best practice whilst delivering optimal results and performance.

Working within a budget, to deliver the plan.

Managing key stakeholder relationships and effectively communicating with stakeholders across the business, as well as external stakeholders such as the customer and supplier.

Owning marketing KPIs, which includes responsibility for the measurement and ROI of marketing expenditure.

Owning and optimising marketing supplier relationships and ensuring efficient and effective use of technological and creative resources to optimise marketing programmes.

Commissioning, conducting and using customer and market insight to best inform our plans and to ensure the customer is at the heart of all we do.

Monitoring and benchmarking competitor marketing initiatives.

Experience and Skills Requirements

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in B2B marketing

CIM Professional Diploma or equivalent marketing qualification, such as undergraduate degree is advantageous.

Experience of using marketing technology to deliver successful marketing campaigns.

Product marketing experience.

Very strong creative skills.

Experience of writing and creating marketing campaigns.

Very strong copy writing skills.

Ability and experience of budget management is advantageous.

Exceptional communication, presentation and interpersonal skills essential.

Ability to work independently and within a team.

Ability to manage workload and time independently

Ability to drive initiatives and make things happen.
