Job Description
Due to continued growth, an established manufacturer of structural steel fabrications is looking for an experienced CAD Designer / Senior CAD Designer to join their team.
Reporting into the Design Office Manager, candidates will be responsible for producing design layouts, general arrangements and full manufacturing drawings using Autodesk Inventor.
As a CAD Designer / Senior Designer your duties will also include:
Liaising with the project team, client, architect & structural engineers to gather details and produce bespoke drawings to suit their requirement's.
Maintain files and records throughout
Attend internal or external project design meetings.
To be successful in the role of CAD Designer / Senior CAD Designer, the ideal candidate will:
Have a number of years' experience in a similar role.
Be experienced in the use of AutoCAD & Autodesk Inventor or Solidworks.
Have experience of producing accurate drawings to enable effective construction.
Ba able to read technical drawings and specifications.
Have some knowledge of open mesh flooring, handrails, balustrades, staircases, platforms, architectural metalwork, or similar.
Have some exposure to Revit & BIM models.On offer:
