Schedule InformationThe work schedule includes both day and night shifts with 1 Charge, 10 Staff, and 2 OB Techs on each shift.Weekend work and on-call duties are expected to fulfill the facility's needs, though regular scheduled on-call is not typically required.
Unit Specific InformationStaff members perform procedures such as NST, cervical exams, managing labor, titrating medications, and applying McRoberts maneuver.Assessment for the best personality fit includes a preference for individuals who love organized chaos and handling a high volume of patients.Candidates will wear Hospital infant security scrubs as part of the dress code.Unit policies and guidelines can be found listed in the Intranet.
Additional DetailsThe Labor and Delivery unit has 11 labor beds, 4 ObEval beds, 2 OB PACU, and 2 operating rooms.Floating to Postpartum-Couplets areas may be required.The type of equipment used includes GE fetal monitoring.EMR systems in use are CPN and Meditech.
