Database Administrator - Amazon RDS/Google Cloud Platform

Database Management : - Design, implement, and maintain databases across AWS (RDS) and GCP environments. - Manage databases like MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Google Firestore, and Firebase. - Ensure security, high availability, and performance optimization. - Perform regular backups and recovery operations. - Monitor and troubleshoot database issues, ensuring data integrity. Cloud Management : - Deploy and manage databases using AWS and GCP services. - Oversee cloud resources, including storage, compute, and networking. - Implement and maintain best practices for database security in cloud environments. Collaboration & Support : - Collaborate with developers to align database designs with application needs. - Provide database-related support to end-users and technical teams. - Stay updated with emerging database technologies and best practices. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED : Bachelor's Degree in Computer sciences, or related field. Functional / Technical Skills : - Proficient in AWS and GCP environments. - Expertise in Amazon RDS MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Google Firestore and Firebase. - Skilled in performance tuning, optimization, and database security. - Strong scripting abilities (e.g., Bash, Python). Behavioral Skills : - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Effective communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to work independently and within a team.
