Position : QA Engineer (Manual & Automation Testing). Experience Level : 3-4 Years. Location : Bangalore. Job Type : Full-time. Job Description : As a QA Engineer with expertise in manual and automation testing, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our e-commerce platform. You will work closely with the development and product teams to identify and resolve issues, ensuring a seamless user experience. Your role will include designing and executing test cases, creating automation scripts, and ensuring that the software meets high standards of performance, security, and usability. Key Responsibilities : Manual Testing : - Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases for various e-commerce functionalities. - Perform functional, regression, usability, and exploratory testing across different browsers, devices, and environments. - Hands-on experience with test management and bug tracking tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar. - Ensure thorough testing of new features as well as changes to existing features. Automation Testing : - Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Cypress with scripting language Java script. - Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing. - Ensure automation coverage for critical paths, APIs, and core e-commerce functionalities. Collaboration : - Work closely with the development team to understand product requirements and technical designs. - Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and Status calls. Skills and Qualifications : - 3-4 years of experience in manual and automation testing in an e-commerce or related domain. - Proficiency in automation testing tool Cypress, TestNG, or similar. - Experience with scripting languages like Java and JavaScript for test automation. - Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman. - Good knowledge of SQL for database testing. - Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub. - Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies. - Experience in testing across multiple devices and platforms, ensuring cross-browser compatibility. - Detail-oriented and highly organized. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Preferred Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience. - Hands-on experience creating Automation frameworks. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
