SAP ABAP Developer

Role : SAP ABAP Developer. Location : Bangalore/Pune/Mysore/Kochi. Experience : 5-10Years. Notice Period : Immediate 30 Days. Apply only those candidate who are from B.Tech and BCA Background. Job Description : Responsibilities : SAP ABAP Development : - Analyze business requirements and translate them into well-designed technical solutions using ABAP. - Develop and maintain complex ABAP programs, interfaces, and workflows using object-oriented programming principles (ABAP OO). - Utilize the ABAP development workbench effectively for efficient coding and development practices. - Work with various ABAP tools and techniques, including Dictionary, Workflows, SAPForms, BAPIs, Enhancement Framework, RFCs, BADIs, IDocs, ALE, ABAP Objects, IDoc Queue handling, ABAP Proxy - Framework, Change Document Framework, Conversions, Data load methods, SPAU, SPDD, and post-upgrade activities. - Implement Open SQL statements and optimize queries for efficient database & Enhancements : - Configure and manage ALE/IDoc communication between SAP and external systems. - Develop enhancements and user exits for customizing standard SAP functionalities. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to ALE/IDoc configurations and enhancements. - Possess a working knowledge of SAP PI/PO integration layer for broader integration & Collaboration : - Apply strong analytical and logical thinking skills to solve complex technical challenges. - Collaborate effectively with business analysts, functional consultants, and other developers to ensure successful project execution. - Thrive in a global and virtual work environment, managing tasks and prioritizing effectively under pressure. Tech Skills (Required) : - Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development. - In-depth knowledge of ABAP programming language, object-oriented concepts, and development tools. - Extensive experience with ABAP workbench, Dictionary, Workflows, SAPForms, BAPIs, Enhancement Framework, RFCs, BADIs, IDocs, ALE, and ABAP Objects. - Proficiency in Open SQL and database performance optimization techniques. - Strong experience working with ALE/IDoc configuration, enhancements, user exits, and error handling. Tech Skills (Preferred) : - Experience with SAP HANA database and development considerations. - Sound understanding of core SAP business processes. - Experience working with ABAP 7.4 and later versions. - Familiarity with SAP GTS (Global Trade Services) module. - Knowledge of Web Dynpro framework with FPM and UIBBs for advanced UI development. - Experience with Core Interface and debugging/enhancing CIF interface with SAP APO for supply chain Skills : - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technological skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies. - Ability to travel internationally (if applicable). - Commitment to adhering to company policies and safety procedures.
