Job Title : Python Developer (Data Science) Experience : 5 Years Location : Remote Employment Type : Full-Time Job Description : We are seeking an experienced Python Developer with a strong background in Data Science to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in data analysis, machine learning, and software development. This role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to build geospatial, predictive, and time series solutions that contribute to a variety of projects, including environmental and ecological initiatives. Key Responsibilities : - Develop and implement machine learning algorithms to solve real-world problems. - Apply statistical models and techniques, including regression analysis, statistical testing, and data distributions, to support data-driven decision-making. - Collaborate with data engineering teams to design and develop data pipelines and integration processes. - Build predictive models and conduct data mining to gather actionable insights. - Analyze large datasets using SQL and Python, providing recommendations for process improvements. - Develop geospatial analysis solutions, predictive models, and time series forecasting. - Utilize operational research methodologies to solve complex optimization problems. - Present technical findings and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Engage in all phases of software development, including requirement gathering, coding, testing, and deployment. - Collaborate with other data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to improve data-driven decision-making. - Contribute to environmental and ecological projects using domain knowledge. Required Skills & Experience: - 5 years of experience in Python development, with a focus on data science projects. - Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms such as clustering, decision trees, neural networks, etc. - Strong applied statistics skills, including understanding of distributions, statistical testing, regression, and hypothesis testing. - Proficiency in data mining, mathematics, and statistical analysis. - Solid experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation. - Proven experience in building geospatial, predictive, and time series solutions. - Excellent operational research skills and ability to solve complex analytical problems. - Strong problem-solving skills and a data-driven mindset. - Experience working with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, and Tensor Flow. - Experience with data visualization tools such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Plotly. - Familiarity with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) for deploying data solutions. - Excellent communication and presentation skills, with an ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
