Director - Cloud Operations

Lead and oversee the DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and Quality Assurance (QA) teams in a SaaS company, ensuring optimal cloud operations, service reliability, and product : - Develop and implement cloud operations strategies aligned with business objectives. - Manage and mentor DevOps, SRE, and QA team leads. - Drive continuous improvement in cloud infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD processes. - Oversee incident management and resolution processes. - Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards. - Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization. - Collaborate with product and engineering teams to enhance service reliability and performance. - Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for cloud operations. - Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies. - Implement GenAI-powered self-service platforms for other teams. - Develop and maintain AI-driven automation tools for cloud operations. - Oversee the integration of GenAI models into DevOps and SRE workflows. - Establish best practices for responsible AI use in cloud operations. - Collaborate with data science teams to leverage AI for predictive maintenance and anomaly : - 15 years of experience in cloud operations, DevOps, or related fields. - 7 years of leadership experience in technology roles. - Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e. g., AWS, Azure, GCP). - Experience with containerization, orchestration, and microservices architectures. - Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices. - Understanding of QA methodologies and best practices. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; Master's degree preferred. - Experience implementing GenAI solutions in cloud environments. - Knowledge of large language models and their applications in DevOps and SRE. - Familiarity with AI ethics and responsible AI practices. - Understanding of AI-driven automation and its impact on cloud operations. - Experience with AI/ML platforms and tools (e. g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face).
