Job Role : Laptop and User Migration Expert (MS365 Tenant Migrations) Location : Remote (UK) Experience : 5-7yrs Employment Type : Contract to Hire About the Role : We are seeking an experienced Laptop and User Migration Expert specializing in Microsoft 365 tenant migrations to join our team. You will play a critical role in ensuring seamless migrations of laptops and user profiles during Microsoft 365 tenant transitions. This is a fully remote role based in the UK, ideal for someone with hands-on expertise in migration processes and user support. Key Responsibilities : 1. Laptop and User Migration : - Perform seamless laptop and user migrations across Microsoft 365 tenants. - Configure and troubleshoot user accounts, applications, and settings post-migration. - Ensure data integrity, compliance, and security during migration processes. 2. Microsoft 365 Tenant Management : - Plan, execute, and monitor migration activities for Microsoft 365 tenants. - Collaborate with stakeholders to map out migration strategies and timelines. - Address compatibility and synchronization challenges between tenants. 3. Technical Support and Documentation : - Provide end-to-end support to users during and post-migration to resolve issues promptly. - Document procedures, configurations, and lessons learned for future reference. 4. Collaboration : - Work closely with IT teams, project managers, and end-users to ensure a smooth migration process. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns. Required Skills & Qualifications : 1. Technical Expertise : - Proven experience in Microsoft 365 tenant migrations and laptop user profile transitions. - Strong understanding of Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) and Azure AD. - Familiarity with identity and access management, licensing, and application compatibility. 2. Problem-Solving Skills : - Ability to troubleshoot migration challenges and implement solutions effectively. - Experience handling migration-related issues, such as data loss prevention and email redirection. Soft Skills : - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for guiding users through migration processes. - Ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail in a remote setting. Certifications (Preferred) : Microsoft Certified : Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or Microsoft 365 Certified : Enterprise Administrator Expert. Preferred Experience : - Hands-on experience with tools like MigrationWiz or BitTitan. - Knowledge of third-party applications and integration during tenant migrations. - Prior experience in IT support or service desk roles is a plus (ref:hirist.tech)
