Senior Developer - AEM Applications

Overview: The AEM Senior Developer plays a crucial role in the organization, responsible for developing and maintaining AEM applications while ensuring optimal performance and user experience. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge digital experiences and provide technical expertise and guidance on AEM solutions. Key Responsibilities : - Designing and implementing AEM components and workflows to support business requirements - Integrating AEM with various systems and third-party applications - Developing custom AEM templates and components - Optimizing application performance and troubleshooting technical issues - Collaborating with UI/UX designers to implement engaging user experiences - Implementing and customizing OSGi services and workflows - Participating in code reviews and ensuring code quality and standards - Creating and maintaining technical documentation - Supporting the migration of content to AEM platforms - Conducting performance tuning and optimization of AEM applications - Identifying and addressing security vulnerabilities Required Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field - Proven experience in AEM development and implementation - Proficiency in Java and JavaScript for backend and frontend development - Experience with HTML, CSS, and responsive web design - Strong understanding of AEM building blocks and concepts - Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party systems - Proficient in version control systems such as Git - Experience with Adobe Analytics and other digital marketing tools - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues - Excellent communication and collaboration skills - Certification in Adobe Experience Manager is a plus - Knowledge of cloud platforms and microservices architecture is desirable - Ability to work effectively in an agile development environment - Problem-solving and analytical skills - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently (ref:hirist.tech)
