DevOps Engineer - Cloud Computing

Location : Bangalore (Hybrid mode) Role : Devops - Work from Office for 3 days a week About us : Online platform for people with disability to find, hire and manage their own support workers. For too long, people with disability have had to accept support on someone else's terms. Managing support workers was part of their family routine. Sometimes the support workers were a great fit but more often than not, they weren't. While at university, Jordan became a disability support worker and learned that not only was the system broken for people with disability but also for support workers. It was with a deep and personal understanding of the disability support work system and the ways it needed to change that Laura and Jordan decided to create Hireup: Australia's first online disability support network that puts its users in control. We have a better future in our sights and we're putting our stamp all over it. One support work relationship at a time. For us, that's the Hireup story. National Disability Scheme (NDS) - given to individuals in Australia The founders (Brother, Elder Sister - Co-CEOs) had a disabled brother. They didn't have good support in Australia. They moved to UK and came back after a gap and Australia had come up with the NDS. Role overview : 1) A strong developer (language agnostic) 2) Experience in using Infrastructure as Code(IaC) 3) Experience with cloud computing preferably AWS 4) Familiar with containerized platforms 5) Familiar with monitoring and observability using tools like sumologic, datadog etc 6) A structured and consistent approach to troubleshooting 7) Approach work with high-energy, drive and internal motivation 8) Exhibit adaptability, resilience, transparency, trustworthiness, passion and innate curiosity 9) Ability to work well in a team setting. What would you do here : 1) Be responsible for the continuous monitoring and remediation of production and build pipeline issues 2) Debug and troubleshoot code, feeding back improvements 3) Continuously improve our monitoring and alerting systems 4) Build tooling to assist with operations and security (e.g. user access management, automated auditing) 5) Ensure that the pipeline from development to production remains unblocked and efficient.
