Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer with a strong background in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in architecting, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure on GCP, with a focus on scalability, security, and performance. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of our cloud systems, working closely with development teams, and leading cloud-based projects. Key Responsibilities : - Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions on GCP. - Lead architecture and infrastructure discussions to drive the adoption of best practices in cloud services. - Develop and automate cloud infrastructure processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager. - Monitor and manage cloud resources to ensure high availability, cost optimization, and efficient scaling. - Collaborate with development teams to create and maintain CI/CD pipelines. - Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues with a focus on minimizing downtime and ensuring reliability. - Implement and maintain security protocols, access control, and compliance standards on GCP. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior cloud engineers and team members. - Stay updated on the latest GCP features, best practices, and industry trends. - Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure Qualifications : - 3 years of experience in cloud engineering - Expertise in GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM, Cloud Functions,Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Pub/Sub, BigQuery, etc. - Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager, or similar. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar. - Proficiency in containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes (K8s). - Solid understanding of networking, security, load balancing, and firewall configurations on GCP. - Proven ability to optimize cloud environments for cost-efficiency and performance. - Experience with monitoring tools such as Google Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, or Grafana. - Familiarity with cloud migration strategies and best practices. - Experience working on Linux based infrastructure - Configuration and managing databases such as MySQL, Mongo, Elasticsearch, Redis What We Offer: - Competitive salary and benefits package. - Opportunity to work in a dynamic, innovative environment. - Professional growth and development opportunities. - A collaborative and supportive work culture (ref:hirist.tech)
