Purpose of the position: Ensure the correct execution of chemical, instrumental, product and organoleptic analyses of the samples of raw materials, semi-finished and finished products, taken over by the laboratory and support the quality assurance activities for IRCA products, maintaining technical relations with customers and export control authorities and providing them with the required documentation and evidence. Quality Control: Receive and record samples for analytical control Take the sample for analysis directly from the production lines Carefully perform the analyses and controls as required by the company’s Quality System Record the results of the analysis as required by the procedures of the Quality System Take care of the perfect functioning and preventive maintenance of laboratory equipment and instruments Store with order the countersamples of raw materials, semi-finished and finished products, taken in charge by the laboratory and subjected to specific control Propose improvements in laboratory analysis methods Collaborate with the function responsible for drafting new methods of analysis Quality Assurance: Maintain technical relations with customers, managing the drafting and approval of the necessary documentation (specifications, declarations, questionnaires) Check the compliance of IRCA products with non-EU legislation, with particular focus on the United States, and prepare the necessary documentation to support export (FDA data sheets, quarantine questionnaires, customs declarations) Collect and maintain export specific Extra EU compliance information for functional raw materials (e.g. additives, flavourings, etc.) Education: Degree in Food Science and Technology Professional Skills: Quality Control Knowledge Customer technical relations Food legislation (EU) Food Regulation (USA; other) - plus Religious certifications (Halal, Kosher) - plus Languages: Fluent written and spoken English Experience: 2 years of experience in the role, preferably in the food industry Soft Skills: Result orientation Team Working Flexibility Time Management Accuracy We welcome applications from candidates of all genders, backgrounds, identities, nationality, ethnic origin, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, parental responsibilities, age, religion, or belief.
