Job Title: Marketing & University Relationship Manager, Italy Salary: Competitive Location: Bologna, Italy Contract: Permanent, 40 hours per week Join our team as the Marketing and Universities Relationship Manager for Italy, where you'll drive innovative marketing strategies and forge key relationships with universities to enhance the recognition of Cambridge qualifications, shaping the future of education in Italy. About the role As the Marketing and Universities Relationship Manager for Italy, you will be at the forefront of our marketing and recognition efforts across the country. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute localised marketing strategies that resonate with the Italian educational landscape. This includes: Adapting global campaigns to fit the local context Managing relationships with creative agencies Overseeing the marketing budget You will also play a crucial role in enhancing the recognition of Cambridge qualifications within Italian universities, focusing on gaining formal acceptance of IGCSE qualifications as proof of English language proficiency. You will work closely with various internal teams, such as the Senior Marketing Manager for Europe and the Senior Regional Manager for Italy, as well as external partners, to promote Cambridge International Education products and ensure university acceptance of our qualifications. This position will also require attending conferences, engaging in ongoing university relations, and responding to educational policy developments. About you You are a proactive, creative, and organized professional with a passion for education and a deep understanding of the Italian market. You possess excellent communication skills in both Italian and English (C1/C2 level), with the ability to adapt messaging for diverse audiences. You have a demonstrated ability to: Develop marketing strategies Manage projects Work collaboratively within international teams You thrive in a dynamic environment, can manage multiple priorities, and are skilled at building and maintaining relationships with universities and external partners. Experience with the Italian education system, familiarity with international qualifications (preferably Cambridge programmes), and a knack for creative problem-solving will make you a strong candidate. A self-starter with excellent persuasion and negotiation skills, you can drive forward marketing campaigns and recognition initiatives, all while maintaining a focus on long-term strategic goals. Additionally, you must live within a commutable distance from the office, ensuring your ability to engage with the team and attend in-person meetings and events as required.
