Hello, I'm Hugo, Recruitment and Business Development Consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in finance and accounting. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent in the Greater Montreal area. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and works in your environment. We cover the finance, accounting and payroll professions. I'm looking for a Payroll Specialist for my client in the heart of downtown Montreal. This is a permanent contract, in hybrid mode (1 day telecommuting and 4 days in the office). You will be recognized for : - Responsible for administering and producing payroll according to specific cycles; - Manage employee files; - Calculate retroactive or other special payments; - Respond to questions and requests from employees, managers and external organizations regarding payroll data; - Verify timesheets and make corrections in accordance with labor standards; - Collaborate in the production of various management reports, including general ledger entries, and participate in the preparation of the annual audit file; - Prepare records of employment; - Ensure compliance and integrity of information; - Manage group insurance: enrolment, termination, etc; - Manage CNESST files; - Actively participate in optimizing processes and procedures affected by system implementation; - Interpret union contracts for accurate implementation of terms and conditions; - Coordinate the submission of union contributions; - Participate in the annual year-end cycle, including T4/T4A and Relevé 1; We want to meet you if you have the following qualifications: - DEC in accounting; - Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar position; - Experience in payroll production affected by collective agreements; - Experience with the implementation of payroll software (Ceridian, ADP-PCPW or Employeur-D) is a definite asset; - Excellent knowledge of the Office suite, intermediate level with Excel; - Rigorous and autonomous; - Excellent organizational skills, able to prioritize and manage many tasks at once; - Ability to analyze and synthesize; - A.C.P. certification from the Canadian Payroll Association; - Excellent written and oral communication skills in both French and English.
