Senior Project Engineer

European Tech Recruit are working closely with a leading robotics company, based in Stuttgart, who are looking for a talented Senior Project Engineer to join their team.

In this role you will coordinate technical aspects of quality, cost, and scheduling mainly for mechanical engineering work packages.

Responsibilities as Senior Project Engineer:

• Coordinating technical aspects related to quality, cost, and scheduling primarily for mechanical engineering work packages.
• Collaborate with the core team to develop and share ownership of project timelines. Ensure that project tasks are up to date. Facilitate communication between departments, suppliers, and customers for assigned projects.
• Evaluate and enhance design concepts to align with engineering principles, company standards, and customer requirements.
• Prepare mechanical engineering execution documentation, including safety concepts, primary specifications, customer specifications, and long-lead releases. Obtain customer approval for these documents.
• Ensure the preparation of mechanical engineering-related projects and process documentation.
• Evaluate the feasibility and cost-effectiveness of proposed design concepts.

Requirements:

• You are fluent in English and German.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation).
• Previous experience in Hardware and AI-software solutions for automation.
• Technical background in Automation, automotive or machinery industry useful.
• Independent, thorough and team oriented describes your attitude towards work.
• You are enthusiastic, good communicator, highly motivated and supportive.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Available for travel up to 40%.
