M&E Quantity Surveyor

Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor for a permanent position. You will have at least 5 years’ experience as a standalone QS.
In this role you will be responsible for managing all costs related to the mechanical and electrical aspects of a variety of construction projects. You will ensure projects stay within budget while meeting quality standards and client requirements.
Key responsibilities:
* Prepare, negotiate and monitor project costs and contracts.
* Liaise with clients, contractors, and design teams throughout project lifecycle.
* Keep on top of project variations and manage change.
* Prepare tender docs, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities etc.
* Prepare financial reports and final accounts.
* Valuation of completed work and paying contractors.
* Cost analysis for repairs / maintenance / installations.
* Keep on top of risk management and cost control.
Requirements:
* Degree in Quantity Surveying or another relevant discipline (or equivalent experience).
* 5+ years of experience in Mechanical & Electrical surveying, with proven leadership skills in managing projects
* Familiarity with standard contracts (NEC, JCT, etc.)
* Proficiency in cost management software and strong Excel skills.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
