Job Description
Our client is a global manufacturer looking for an exceptional Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. This pivotal role is newly created, will report into an experienced Financial Controller and offer extensive mentorship as the Management Accountant progresses through the business.
Within this role, you will hold responsibility for influencing strategic decisions that will drive performance within the business, as well as leading various reporting processes and delivering these results to multiple stakeholders across the wider operational team.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
*
Collaborating with the manufacturing and sales teams to provide knowledge and analysis on manufacturing costs, bill of materials and product pricing.
*
Full responsibility of monthly budgeting and forecasting processes including reforecasting where appropriate and cost reduction targets.
*
Reporting Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow performance along with submitting budget/forecasts to wider Group.
*
Responsibility for stock processes and reconciliations on a monthly basis.
*
Performing weekly cash flow forecasting and managing working capital.
*
Completing WIP reports.
*
Automate and streamline reporting processes where necessary.
*
Preparation of VAT and CIS returns.
*
Support the continued development of 2 direct reports.
*
Assisting in audit process – acting as a point of contact for external auditors.
Person Specification:
*
ACA / ACCA / CIMA.
*
Recent Manufacturing experience (Essential).
