Job Description
PM Group is looking for Process Engineer with FEED & Plant-based experience to support a fine chemical site in Lancashire.
Responsibilities
· Fast-track development of a brownfield project to get to +/-30% capital cost estimate
· Engineering documentation including BFDs, PFDs, P&IDs and / or modifications to existing
· Equipment lists, datasheets & design calculations for new and existing equipment
· Scoping & Pricing equipment and presenting proposals to senior management
· Development of risk assessments.
· Completion of all appropriate safety studies within defined timeframe
· Other tasks in-keeping with the remit of a chemical engineering consultant
· Overseeing the Installation & Commissioning phases
Qualifications
· Candidates must have proven experience of working as a process engineer primarily in bulk chemicals
· Knowledge of standard industry practices, procedures and safety measures is essential, including a deep understanding of GMP and process safety practices.
· The successful candidates will have strong leadership and communication skills, including the ability to challenge and work with other technical engineers and project stakeholders.
· Candidates should have a degree in chemical engineering or other relevant discipline.
· Experience in process modelling software would be advantageous, particularly Aspen plus.
