Pump Engineer

Vector Recruitment Solutions is recruiting for an experienced Pump Engineer on behalf of our client, one of the UKs fastest-growing providers of pump services. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and skilled pump engineer with a strong background servicing and maintaining foul and surface water pumps, submersible pumping stations, and treatment plants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Routine Maintenance: Conduct planned maintenance on sewage and surface water pump stations, treatment plants, and booster sets.
• Emergency Response: Attend in-hours and out-of-hours emergency callouts, resolving issues on-site to ensure minimal disruption.
• Repairs: Complete repairs and remedial tasks with attention to quality and safety.

Ideal Candidate Qualities:

• Industry Experience: Proven experience working as a pump engineer on surface and foul water pumps.
• Strong Work Ethic: Willingness to work in demanding conditions and get stuck in when needed.
• Problem Solver: Practical mindset with strong troubleshooting skills.
• Driving Licence: Full UK Driving licence

Working Hours:

• Core Hours: Monday to Friday, 7 am - 5 pm
• On Call Rota: Participation in the 24/7 call-out rota is required.

Pay and benefits:

• Rate: Up to £41,600 pa depending on experience
• Overtime: Paid at time and a half
• Door to Door pay
