Purchase Ledger Controller

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Purchase Ledger Controller to join their established business and dynamic finance team in Blackburn. The ideal candidate will bring experience in shipping imports, a fast-paced manufacturing background, and a proven track record in processing high volumes of invoices. Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure are essential qualities for success in this role.

Duties as Purchase Ledger Controller will include: -

• Processing and reconciling high numbers of purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices

• Managing both fulfilled and unfulfilled orders

• Overseeing purchase and credit returns

• Efficiently handling BACS payment runs

• Preparing and managing purchase reports, as well as month-end reporting

• Ensuring accurate data entry and record-keeping

• Conducting VAT and tax code checks and calculations
