Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Location: Hessle
Role Type: Permanent
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + Car or Car Allowance
About the Role:
A leading new build residential construction company is seeking a talented and motivated Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Hessle. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Quantity Surveying team, assisting with a range of tasks including cost control, valuations, and contract administration.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of cost plans and estimates
Conduct site visits to measure work completed and identify variations
Prepare and analyze cost reports and valuations
Assist in the preparation of tender documents and contract administration
Liaise with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders
Use quantity surveying software to prepare accurate costingsAbout You:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and experience:
Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
A full UK driving license is essential
Strong analytical and numerical skills
Good understanding of construction methods and materials
Excellent attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
