Job Description
Cure Talent are thrilled to partner with a global medical organisation at the forefront of healthcare innovation. We are seeking a skilled Production Technician in Plymouth, working in a high-volume, highly automated manufacturing environment.
As the Production Technician you will play a central role in supporting the manufacturing team by ensuring all machinery operates to optimal standards. You will assist in troubleshooting and resolving unexpected production issues, conduct root cause analysis for recurring faults, and actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
What You’ll Do:
* Operating production machinery, ensuring equipment runs efficiently and meets quality standards.
* Conducting preventative maintenance and refurbishing offline machinery.
* Diagnosing and repairing electro-mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
* Monitoring in-process quality and resolving issues promptly.
* Operating production machinery, assembling product and pallet release duties.
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering (C&G, HND) or completion of a time-served apprenticeship.
* Hands-on experience in maintenance, fault finding, and high-volume manufacturing.
* Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
