Job Description

Currently, we are on the lookout for a skilled and dedicated Personal Tax Manager to join a vibrant and expanding team. We seek an individual who is ready to embark on a new and exciting journey with a leading, local firm of Chartered Accountants.
This role is tailor-made for those who thrive amidst challenges, prioritize results, relish accountability, and embody a proactive 'can-do' spirit.
Responsibilities
Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients with diligence and expertise.
Handling all compliance matters efficiently.
Taking full charge of preparing personal tax returns within your designated portfolio.
Crafting forms P11D and offering ad-hoc taxation advice to clients.
Engaging in consultancy projects within the department, collaborating with tax Partners on tasks such as share restructuring, EIS/SEIS, EMI’s, and other project-based endeavors.
Representing clients in dealings with HM Revenue & Customs, including handling inquiries.
Requirements
ATT or CTA qualification would be ideal but similar qualifications or qualified by experience will also be considered.
Minimum of 3 years' experience working in personal tax, within a firm of chartered accountants.
Experience looking after a portfolio of personal tax clients.
A robust understanding of personal tax principles and extensive experience in the field.
Familiarity with basic international tax issues like domicile, remittance basis, and residency.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
Benefits
Salary Circa £50,000 - £65,000 depending on experience and qualification status.
