Summary: The CAD Technician will be responsible for the production of CAD drawings for the manufacturing team. Key Responsibilities: Read, interpret and produce technical drawings to specification Producing detailed CAD drawings for manufacture based on client requirements Liaising with the design and manufacturing teams Create floor plan layouts Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Health and Safety policies and procedures Schedule own work programme to ensure deadlines are met Ensure records and paperwork are accurate and up to date Adopt a Continuous Improvement approach to processes and practices The Ideal Person: Experienced CAD Technician in a fast-paced busy environment Have experience in the use of design software packages (i.e. AutoCAD) Be familiar in providing CAD documentation to Client requirements Excellent IT skills especially Microsoft Office and Excel Proven ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) to build relationships with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders Have CNC Operator and Programming experience Ability to work effectively both alone and in a team environment Possess strong attention to detail Ideally come from a joinery background or have CAD experience in joinery For further information on this vacancy, or any other Built Environment job in Belfast or wider Northern Ireland, please apply via the link below or contact Robert Apps for a confidential discussion Skills: CAD Technician CAD Technician AutoCAD Design Technician Benefits: DOE + excellent benefits package
