CAD Technician

Kenect Recruitment Belfast have a fantastic opportunity for a CAD Technician with AUTODESK CIVIL 3D experience to join a family run business based between Moira and Lurgan. Please note - due to location, it is essential that you have your own transport. Salary:£40k - £45k (DOE) Hours:Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week Job role: - Create detailed CAD drawings and models based on project specifications and requirements - Collaborate with engineers to ensure accuracy and completeness of designs - Review and analyse technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics - Significant experience utilising Autodesk Civil 3D to develop 2D and 3D models - Experience in tunnelling, highways, earthworks and utility design - Perform quality checks on completed designs to identify any errors or discrepancies - Make revisions to drawings as necessary based on feedback from project stakeholders - Maintain organized files and documentation of all design work Criteria: - Proven experience as a CAD Technician or similar role - Proficient in Autodesk Civil 3D - Familiarity with other design software such as Sketchup, NavisWorks, and Revit is a plus - Strong understanding of technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics - Knowledge of building codes and regulations related to design projects - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in design work - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot design issues If you have the skills and experience required for this position, we would love to hear from you.
