Job Description
CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Senior Technical Manager to join our team in London. As a Senior Technical Manager, you will be responsible for control, maintenance, project delivery and compliance of the Electrical infrastructure. This role is required to lead on the oversight of installation works within the client portfolio. Ensuring compliance to all statutory regulations and industry standards. This role will form part of the Engineering operational team, acting as a subject matter expert for the electrical systems within. and act as a conduit between project delivery and operational teams to ensure 100% uptime throughout delivery and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and impact project design plans for the Electrical systems at site.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with Key project stakeholders.
Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures .
Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of systems.
Lead by example and model behaviours that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
Positively impact the Electrical infrastructure operation and maintenance.
Embed and Manage CBRE SSOW and controls to an auditable standard for the Electrical systems on site.
Ensure high quality delivery of PPM and reactive works to meet SLA.
Understand and implement QHSE policy requirements.
Embed and review risk assessments and audit H&S compliance of teams working on infrastructure.
Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out both maintenance and reactive works. To provide parts lists and estimated timescales to carry out remedial works.
Takes Ownership, ability to motivate self and team, Articulate, Good communicator.
To develop a good working relationship with all members of CBRE staff and client.
Management of CBRE sub-contractors works, ensuring accurate PPM task completion.
Coordination and reporting of remedial actions associated with CBRE partners.
Continual surveillance of Electrical systems and all works undertaken on the premises.
Commercial acumen and strong customer relationship skills.
Acting Duty HV/LV Authorised Person.Experience Required:
C&Guilds or Higher NVQ level 3 qualification
Health & Safety qualification - NEEBOSH/IOSH or similar
HVAP/LVAP Authorised person-NICEIC
Experience within Critical Banking and M&E delivery
People management skills and team building experience
Good communicator, Financial acumen, presentable, articulate
Well organised and good prioritisation and planning skills.
Service orientated attitude combined with innovative thinking
Self-motivated with a high level of personal integrity, professional manner and resourceful
Good administration and communication skills
Good knowledge of MS office applications
Ability to manage CAFM systems.
Ability to manage Client CHG management system.
Knowledge of Commercial Electrical systems design and installation
Knowledge of Commercial Electrical Distribution
Knowledge of BS87671
Knowledge of EAWR 1989
Experience in Project Management and Project Design
Experience in main distribution board switching of ACB's
Experience in FWT of electrical systems
