About the Company:Hays are working with a growing manufacturing company based in Taunton, Somerset, producing components for homeware. The finance team consists of 6 dedicated professionals, and they are seeking an Interim Management Accountant to join us and support our continued growth for 9 months, whilst a colleague is off on maternity leave.
Key Responsibilities:Prepare management accounts and financial reportsOversee month-end and year-end closing processesEnsure compliance with accounting standards and regulationsAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planningConduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-makingSupport the audit process and liaise with external auditorsCollaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting
Requirements:Ideally fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), but we will consider candidates who are Qualified by Experience (QBE)Strong knowledge of management accounting principles and practicesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency in accounting software and MS OfficeAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong attention to detail and organisational skills
