Cad Technician

Due to continued growth within the Midlands our Client are looking for an experienced CAD Technician to join their Technical Department. Based out of their new office in Swadlincote this is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding, forward thinking Company. You will be responsible for creating and managing Piling and Ground Engineering technical drawings within the Residential, Commercial, Healthcare, Defence and Education sectors

You will be responsible for...

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

* Creation of high-quality, accurate, detailed technical drawings

* Use a variety of CAD software programmes to create Piling and/or Ground Engineering designs in 2D and 3D

* Ensure drawings are compliant with the business and industry standards

* Maintain accurate records in accordance with business processes and filing requirements

* Any other duties commensurate with this post

What we'd like in return...

As a successful candidate you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

* Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role

* Vertex & AutoCAD or any 3D software experience

* Excellent attention to detail

* Understanding of building regulations

* Ideally experience within the Piling and/or Ground Engineering industry
